The 2025 Church Social Media Trend No One’s Talking About
This social media trend isn’t on everyone’s radar.
Hey, it’s Brady,
Social media is great for discovery. AKA introducing your church to new people.
It has another massive benefit though that many churches overlook though…
This is a social media trend that isn’t on everyone’s radar.
Why?
Because it’s not a publishing or platform trend. It’s a user behavior trend.
It’s social for search.
Think of it this way, for years people have visited your website to learn more about your church (which they still do).
But now, visitors often land on your website just to head over to your social platforms.
Why?
Because a sermon clip can tell me about your church’s theology, leadership, building, and style of worship - all in less than 60 seconds!
This isn’t to say your church’s website no longer has value. But to highlight a benefit of social that’s so rarely appreciated.
Yes, social excels at outbound communications - taking our message to the world.
It also excels at inbound communications - where people seek out churches to learn more about them.
Inbound is invisible. You don’t know people are evaluating you unless they say so.
Building a strong social media presence means your church always puts its best foot forward.
