Hey, it’s Brady,

Well, Meta finally admitted it in court - only 7% of time on Instagram involves content from friends - the other 93% is from strangers.

Social media is no longer social. It's just media. It's really just TV. Obviously you know this. Here's the part you're probably not thinking about. Now that basically everything you and I see comes from strangers, every time a new post appears, your brain asks a series of questions: Is this real? Is this AI? What are they trying to sell me? We've been trained to be skeptical. And we should be.

But there's a category that bypasses this filter entirely. Content that was obviously from a real-life moment. Not manufactured for social media. Stand-up comedy clips have this. Sports highlights. You know what else? Sermons from church. The primary audience is the congregation. You can see the room. You can sense the people. You can hear the conviction.

Churches have an amazing advantage here. We need to continue to lean into it. The wisdom of Scripture is for all people, for all time. Social media is the platform for the world to hear The Good News.

If you're struggling with that, I'd be happy to give your church's social media accounts a free audit at auditmychurch.com
