Church Lobby Design I’m Obsessed With

One of the most interesting signs I've seen at church.

Hey, it’s Brady,

In the lobby of Central Community Church you’ll find one of the most interesting signs I’ve ever seen at a church.

When you look at it, you might think it’s a screen. Or an LED wall of some kind.

But it’s not.

Fabric SEG Lightbox - 16 ft wide x 9 ft high

It’s actually a fabric lightbox. 16-feet wide by 9-feet high.

Behind the fabric sign is an aluminum frame mounted to the wall - with LEDs along the edge of the frame.

Changing the fabric sign takes less than 10 minutes.

Changing the fabric sign takes roughly 5 minutes

And because Central prints custom banners for events that rent out their building (school grads, trade shows, galas, etc.), this creative project is revenue-positive for the church.

Church social media strategies that DIED in 2025

RIP to these social media strategies—they didn’t make it in 2025.

If your church is still using them, it’s time to move on.

The good news?

Dropping outdated tactics frees you up to focus on what truly works.

Thanks as always for your time, attention, and trust. - Brady Shearer
