Best Times For Churches To Post On Social [Easter 2025]

Here are the 3 optimal times.

Hey, it’s Brady,

I know you’re deep into Easter prep by now.

Here’s one small way I can help.

This week I analyzed 437 church social media profiles.

We looked at audience engagement patterns, content velocity, and a variety of other factors to detect the most active times for authentic engagement.

And here are the winners for the 2025 Easter season (applies to all weekdays in your specific timezone):

  • 9:24 a.m.

  • 12:23 p.m.

  • 6:24 p.m.

What’s interesting about these times? They’re right before and after a typical 9-5 work day (plus, at lunch).

There’s more to this story though…

Because the lifespan of your social media content is longer than it used to be.

Here’s what I mean…

In The Social Graph Era of social media, a post’s lifespan was just a few hours. Once the chronological feed was axed, that lifespan increased to a few days.

But now that we’re in The Discovery Era, a good post can have a lifespan of a few weeks!

So what am I getting at? Post timing doesn’t matter all that much.

Good posts will almost always get solid distribution irrespective of when they were first published.

So feel free to use these timing guidelines to help. But don’t sweat if you publish at a different time!
