Why I Never Became A Pastor

Hey, it’s Brady,

I went to college to be a Student Pastor. I have my degree in Theology & Youth Ministry.

So why then - did I never become a pastor?

During Bible College I came to realize that I didn’t have the relational bandwidth to be a pastor.

But all I ever wanted to do was work with churches…

Then in my second year internship, I was invited to be the Media Director at a new church plant.

I didn’t have any skills at the time. But they put a camera in my hand and just said, “Go for it.”

With that, I had found my place. And let me tell you -

Running in your lane will always be more fulfilling than trying to be someone you’re not.

I’m grateful I found it early. But I believe it’s always worth chasing.

This is the origin story behind Pro Church Certified. A first of its kind certificate program for creative ministry.

I didn’t have a roadmap myself. So my journey was endless trial & error.

I don’t want that for you or your team.

Certified is the grand total of everything I’ve learned in 13+ years condensed into a 12-month sprint.
