Many churches don’t even need one.

Now, hear me out…

Because there are two types of logos.

#1. Brandmarks = A logo represented by a symbol, icon, or some kind of imagery.

Many churches won’t benefit from a logo like this. But then there are also…

#2. Wordmarks = A logo consisting solely of text.

You know wordmarks - Panasonic. Etsy. Loreal.

Here’s a wordmark logo for a church:

Wordmarks are especially great for churches with long names. Like this one:

Wordmarks commonly get overlooked.

For churches? I often think they’re the perfect solution.

With that being said, there is a specific formula you need for this kind of logo. I share it below:
